I have always been excited to face off with challenges and find solutions to problems. That’s probably why web development has turned out to be a match made in heaven for me. Every challenge I overcome teaches me new skills and makes me excited to push even further and continue to evolve my craft.

I’ve been working in the tech world since 2010, and have been ecstatic to experiment with both agency and freelance web development work since that time.

My goal is to enhance and elevate my web development skills every day. I’m excited to continue customizing themes and build upon plugins to provide smart and cost-effective websites to small businesses who are just starting out. I would also be excited to work with companies who custom code websites so I can continue to evolve in that vein of work as well.

Professional Background

I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science simply because I wanted to know everything about how the internet works. While that was a great starting point for learning how to code and build out a website, I still had questions. For example, as a student who started out with front end web development, I had no idea how to launch a website.

I was always creating web pages offline, and after nailing some essential skills, this became the newest thing I just had to learn. At this time, I was working as a virtual assistant and in my spare time I continued doing research. After developing a single HTML page, I put my heart into publishing it online.

My success on that one seemingly small task is what officially started my journey as a web developer. After figuring out how to do that, I realized that it doesn’t matter how difficult a task is or how much expertise I have going into a project—with a curious mind and a passion for finding answers, there’s no web dev challenge I can’t complete.
